Biography
Joshua is an alumnus of Texas State University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Accounting and a Bachelor's in Business Administration in Finance. Josh has worked in the Austin-area tax preparation and bookkeeping industry for 19 years, and has prepared over 4,200 tax returns of all types and degrees of difficulty, including individual, partnership and corporate returns.
He began his career with Rupert & Associates CPAs, where he spent four years preparing tax returns, working on financial reviews, and the State of Texas AFRS.
Josh and his wife were married in 2003 and have one son. Josh grew up in Hutto, TX and played various sports as a Hutto Hippo. Josh’s family history dates back over 100 years in Hutto. As a son and husband of a small business owner, Josh has seen first-hand the success and struggles of business ownership.
Josh enjoys spending his time with family and friends hosting weekly meals. Josh also staying active with running, biking, and swimming. He has completed over 10 marathons and the Ironman Arizona in 2012.
